There is a new Christian movie coming out in the fall of 2008 called Fireproof. It's about a firefighter trying to put his marriage back together. It looks pretty good.

Hello..yes I hear it is pretty good...We are hosting the Georgia State Firefighters Association/Georgia Fire Chief's Association Joint Conference August 6th-9 th here in Macon Ga. As part of the conference activities we are providing a "Dinner & Movie" event that will preview the Fireproof movie before it's release. I think it will be a well accepted and well attended event. Stay safe out there....Cliff (a.k.a. Chiefiredog)
yes i am excited about this movie. it's only gonna be in about 15-20 movie houses here in tennesse. it opens sept 26 and we are blessed enough to have it shown here in our community. can't wait.
I am looking forward to seeing the movie. You never leave your partner behind.
This movie is made by the same church that done Facing the Giants. You can read a little about it at http://sherwoodpictures.com/
A Men:)
I can't wait to see it...I'm hoping they have it in our town.
I plan on seeing it that weekend as I have to work the 26th. My wife and I as well as another couple are planning on all going together.
We can hardly stand the wait to see this movie. I can't remember the last time we were excited enough about a movie to plan for it months in advance. Steve planned it out as soon as he saw the preview and has even decided that is will be a whole date night. we've been married over 9 years and I don't think he has ever planned anything out let alone the entire thing. LOL
Just two weeks away - a day...getting very antsy to see this movie.
YES THIS MOVIE IS GREAT. I DIDNT JUST GO SEE IT I NOW OWN THE BOOK CALLED THE LOVE DARE WHICH WAS USED IN THE MOVIE ALSO. IT WAS A REAL BLESSING TO ME AND I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD GO AND SEE IT.
I was talking to my wife on the phone today and she told me about the movie. I am currently deployed to Honduras and back home i am a volunteer firefighter. I got married a month before i left for my deployment and when she told me about the movie i had to go and check it out for myself. I viewed the trailer for it online and all i wanted to do was cry. Being in the military i have seen many marriages fail because of deployments and just being in the military in general. Like i said i just recently got married and when i get out of the military i am going to become a full time firefighter and i always have this fear of my marriage failing because of my job. I cannot wait to get home and see this movie with my wife and get back into going to church and stregthening our marriage so that it will become Fireproof.
we went to see it last night! It was terrific! some of the acting was ,well, average but most was super! Fire scenes were pretty good(I only say pretty good because I understand filming interior attacks would be black screens!) The story line was awesome! Cinemetography was outstanding! Fire house antics, interaction is pretty much how I remember it. Whoever researched the fire department parts was spot on. The interaction of the two main fire dept charactors was great! The rookies and the younglings on the department were alot like the ones I trained. The two main characters on whom the stroy is about were quite moving and made us all think. The message was well presented. The test of a good movie for my bride and me is when you have to pee but wont cause you don't want to miss a thing! Our pants were almost wet...
