Hey from Virginia!

Just found the site a couple weeks ago and decided to join! I volunteer in Northern Virginia in Prince William County as a Firefighter, have been doing it almost three years now and absolutely love it. Can honestly say I have not done anything in my life I enjoy more, and wish I had done it as a career out of college! The unfortunate thing is I dated a firefighter/EMT/Paramedic almost 10 years ago, but she never encouraged me to get involved! I wish that she had!

Thanks Terry! E513 is pretty busy, isn't it? I'm usually on TW525, once in awhile E525, and soon, for the next 4 months anyways, I'll be on E505. That'll put me to sleep, except for the train next to the station!

Southern Virginia! People who know the south part of the state always get Bristow and Bristol confused!

lol. I have a adjanct county name King and Queen...Its been picking up here. A lot of subdivisions going up.

Hey Tom I am from Southwest Va Troutville It is in the Roanoke area. slow pace not the fast pace like PW County. I moved down Here last Year From Prince George"s County Maryland. Been Playing Fireman for around 30 some years

Welcome to Firefighter Nation from a volunteer in Prince George's County MD. I did a ride along a year ago at station 511 and maybe I'll get the chance to do another ride along sometime soon.
