Not sure if this has been discussed but anyways, my most memorable fire would be that I was able to do an interior attack fire with my father, we're on separate departments, but work mutual aid together. I'll never forget that moment going in behind my dad with him on the nozzle after we argued over who was taking the nozzle but I let him win:)
The year my brother Jim found his first stiff and well is was hard all over and he really just did not know how to get him out from under the bed .. So he threw a rock on it to get it down... Years have passed and he still gets picked on for it... He came out to me and I was just ready to go in for rehab and his face was as white as a ghost did not know if he would get in trouble for breaking it... lol
I would have the landfill fire that went on for three days straight. The dnr was going to fine us for throwing or subway wrappers on the ground at the landfill. It was interesting and disgusting fire to fight. Oh and needless to say we got out of the tickets.
