With an upcoming election, pay close attention, we need some political assistance today and in the future. We need a presidential candidate that will support emergency service providers. We also need a good set of people in congress that won't cut our funding every chance they get to help them spend money on other "non existant" things. (Pork Barrel Spending)

So, you are one of those who believes that, if you are involved in politics, you are immediately dishonest? Because you state that politics and honesty is an oxymoron. You have just painted anyone who holds elected office as dishonest. Congratulations.
I live in Illinois. There is absolutely nothing that you can tell me about re-districting. I live in a district that was butchered by the Democrats. And trust me; if the GOP was the party in power, they'd do it too.
And check my profile before you call me naive. I'm too old to be naive. Me and naivete parted company some time ago.
And I'm too much of a realist to be delusional.
And for the trifecta, you are confusing cynicism with paranoia.
Put your left-handed trowel and broad brush away and stop trying to exact fear into the hearts of the undecideds and independents.
Stop blaming Republicans.
Be careful who you call dishonest.
You don't know me from Adam and I happen to come by everything that I have honestly.

I live right next to Cook County Illinois, where dishonest politics was invented! Does that mean that all Cook County politicians are corrupt and dishonest? NO it doesn't. Sadly it's the corrupt and dishonest ones that get all the press. You cannot assume that all politicians are dishonest. Stay safe.
