Florida Certs Question
Hi, I am moving to Florida in the next few months. I am currently an EMT Advanced (was a firefighter for 8 yrs but quit recently due to our upcoming relocation)...does anyone know the process of obtaining new certs or transferring of between states? I am currently residing in Indiana. Thanks (moving to Melbourne area and hope to get on a dept. within the next year or two)

Here is the website for the Florida Department of Health. This should be a good starting point to see if you can transfer your license or if you have to get re-certified in this state. Just a word of warning, Florida usually does not accept licenses from other states.
