This isn't a discussion, rather a link to a video clip of a rescue in Rochester a couple of weeks ago. The news story tells it all.

To correct the story a bit, these are members of RFD Quint 9/Midi 9. I may be biased, since I work in this city, but I think the RFD is one of the finest departments around.

I agree.It take's alot to go into a burning building to save a life.That is what we are here to do save life and property.Job well done.I recall a few fires in my day as a fire fighter in henrietta Battalion 3.In which there was a fire on the 12th floor in the A-tower on RIT campus,in which there was a rescue of some students.But that is some cool footage and they are most definitly the finest.

I didn't mean to imply that I'm a paid FF in the city... my place of business is there and being on the plant medical team I rub shoulders with Rochester's Bravest from time to time. But I will watch for those gentlemen and say hey.
That is awesome video! I loved hearing that chief say how proud he was .... they all should be!
