hazmat tech,high angle rescue,confined space rescue,3 88 hr ff classes,officer classes,vehicle extracation,wildland ff,pa forest fire warden,cpr,structural burn classes,arson detection,ff survival,nims,terriosm awareness,ic classes,hippa classes,evoc,landing zones lifeflight,lifestar,rit,and possibly a few others.

About Me:

i started as a ff at age 14 as a jrff,and as i was18 i became srff,from there i bagan my climb in command,beginning as a engineer and then i bacame a lieutenant,i became 1 capt in jan of 99,i held that position until i left for cal in 03,the yr i left i was going to run for asst chief of our station,but i had to relocate,i am still a life member at our station.mostly all of our officers at our station are guys i had trained through my years of my service.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

it was in my blood,my dad was a ff for 30 plus years,i wanted to provide for my community,and i loved being a vol ff,when i left pa and came to california,i was our stations 1 capt,and i was proud to serve our community through out my years of service.i am now a life member of our fire station back in pa.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

knowing that i provided protection and safety in our town,and sorounding communities.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

finding good people to protect and to serve our communities,and knowing the risks that you must take,its hard to get volunteers these days,when i did it it came from my heart,and knowing i was doin for the people of our small community,i would have to say this was the best thing i ever did so far in my life and im proud to say im a vol ff.
