About Me:

I started out going to school to get my AAS in Fire Science Technology. from there worked at Pulse/Vandenberg Ambulance for 2 years, went to LA for hurricanes Rita and Katrina and that motivated me to go to paramedic school. during medic school was hired with Homewood Fire, after medic school was hired by Ingalls. and that's where i am today. currently applying and testing for a full time fire fighter position, hopefully in the southern chicago suburbs. or even a chi medic or ff would be cool.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I really wanted to help people. before i graduated high school i was considering the thought of being a firefighter. then after 9-11 it was official. i had to do it. i would hate to have a desk job where all i did all day was sit in the same office looking at the same computer screen. i love the variety of calls, chest pains, car fires, structure fires, car crashes. never the same call in one day. it's the best job in the world!
