Rather simple story, been a volunter since 16. Did four years with the usmc as a firefighter and worked in WFD on the side while in AZ. Moved home and worked at FPFD for a time and am curently just a jolly volly.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Family tradition and was always around the firehouse as a kid. Its always been in my life. I enjoy being that helping hand and the feeling of helping someone in their time of need.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The big trucks ofcourse..haha

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Increased dangers at a scene. With each day there are new chemicals,changes to trucks and cars that can hinder and hurt responders, an evolving society that brings with it greater population and changes in building construction and lack of funding from states and cities.
