About Me:

right now i`m recovering from left shoulder replacement on the job injury,but the fire board says that they are not responsable becauase i was going to school in the fire truck,even though i was in my lane and a woman and three or four children were in my lane so i swerved to miss them,but when i came back into my lane (other firemen had used a haif of my water out of my tanker but when i tried to maintain control in the curve the water sloshed and the tanker lifted in mid air and throwed me into a ravine) i was supposed to pickup another fireman but he was`nt ready,good thing becaue he would have been killed. idon`t know if i could have handled it because when we fight fire he`s my buddy in the buddy system he`s my partener,so i`m on the road to recovery but thefire board says that i was`nt on the job even though i was going toshool for the fire dept.and someone had used a half a tank of water,but they say they no nothing of the sorts,go figure. but i`ll be back firefighting with gods help soon.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

i joined because we are all brothers,and my father was a fire fighter as i was growing up and i saw alot of brotherhood back then,they lived together they ate together and they died knowing that they could rest at peace knowing that we would rise to the chalange,and that we would all pull together when that bell rang out.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

it`s a thrill and i love helping people.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

our very on fire dept.`s not suppling responders eqipment for our resonders,not supporting them,instead of setting on 100,000.00 our fire boad is setting on this much money.they want even buy what we need to help the firefighters we have and us responders get very disgusted,but what are we suppossed to do.
