I have FF level one and haz mat tech certified.Also have completed wildland fire training and also certified wildland FF.Completed several levels of Fire Investigation.Have lots more but can't think right now.

About Me:

Voted Firefighter Of The Year by the Rutherford County Fire Chiefs Association.Retired Chief but still active in the department.Retired as Chief to spend more time with my family,especially my 6 year old grandson.I discovered life is way too short.Still love the rush though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to make a difference in my life and the lives of others.Being able to help someone is what its all about.

Just want to make a difference and love the commaraderie of my fellow brothers and the passion we all share.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

New Homeland Security laws is making it more difficult for the volunteer responders.The training requirements have made it hard because of full time jobs.The local State Fire Acadamy has done an excellent job in helping us get the training we need based on our schedule.
