Started as soon as I turned 18, have been in it and as active as I could be since. During college I mutual aided for a fire department there and now am home and Captain for my home town. Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Dad was a FF forever and I knew alot of people in who got me started.

The Adreniline rush, and I've always been big on helping people.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Recruitment, Safety : the laws are getting more detailed which is great for safety and the longevity of the fire service, but is also killing the Volunteer fire service.
