Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I cant get enough of the high pace, and the down time. Serving in the community, being a part of something so important. And working towards my goal as a career Firefighter.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: Jumping in and hepling my team in an emeregency. Livin this life that I love to the fullest!

To all my sisters and brothers....I hope everyone's holidays were great. Here in Austin everything is going great. I still work for Acadian Ambulance and I just got on with Manchaca Fire and Rescue. AFD starts taking apps Jan 18th. The weather is great and I'm very excited to get back into my routine. I dont know about the rest of you but I havent been with a dept for 3 months and it was driving me nuts!!!! How I miss the engines, the late night fire/ems calls the weekly training and the friendships! Hope this new year turns out to be great!
