- About Me:
- Well I am 1 of 3 Training Officers, I usually train personnel. on SCBA and Drivers Training and Truck Operations. While the other 2 Officers Train others on everything else. I been a volunteer firefighter for 4 yrs. now and a Training Officer for over a year. Usually since theres not many ppl that shows up on our dept. at a fire I either end up running the truck an at a scene or driving or when it comes to a structure and we have to fight interal-attack i end up doin that and thats awesome. I prefer running the truck operations when it comes to car fires or anyother fires that doesnt involve structures!!!!!

- I joined to help ppl out and to better serve the community that I live in.

- Being First on scene and all the excitement when it comes to fighting a fire especially a structure fire and helpin ppl out in the community.
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- I feel like that paid / volunteer firefighters dont get enough credit for the job they do. Also i belive the paid firefighters in the state of Missouri is way under paid. Then theres Training not enough resources for smaller departments to get the right training at times

But really im the photographer but nobody here treats me like that. They treat me like im equal with them for the most part because i've been around the station for a really really long time.
We haven't got a single call yet today. Oh I didn't tell you i've been talking to the publisher guy from fire engineering and he was telling me he was very interested in getting pics from me for a cover page :)
My padre has lights on his sometimes I ride in his truck with him but im at the station a lot more then him. Like the last 2 days i've been there alllllll day and im going there at 7am tomorrow too.
that would not be good if everybody is out of town!!

well I guess today we had a truck catch on fire

I really didn't do much today it was kind of a blah day.
Just hung around the house with family and stuff..
We didn't really get any calls either except medicals
