Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined to continue a family history in the fire service. I am a forth generation firefighter.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It doesn't happen often but when that one person genuinly thanks you for doing something to save their life of property. And the sence of accomplishment when you bust your ass at a big job.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Line of Duty deaths and the need for constant training, dwindling numbers in the volunteer fire service due to the overwelming fear of lawsuits.
