About Me:

I started in the fire service at the ripe old age of 31. I had been a cadet with Chelsea Fire Department when I was younger. After alot of moving from town to town, state to state, my family and I settled in East Barre, Vermont. At the urging of my uncle, I joined Barre Town Fire Department. I have since loved every minute of it! It is the greatest job there is!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

It's in my family. My mom has been an EMT for over 20 years and is captain of First Branch ambulance. My uncle has been in the fire service for over 30 years and is chief of Chelsea Fire Department. I also have an uncle who just retired after 33 years with Barre City Fire. I have a cousin on Montpelier Fire, and two cousins with Washington Fire. I LOVE this job! I love helping people and serving my community.
