Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Probably the main catalyst was that I lived in Oklahoma City during the 1995 Murrah Building bombing. I've always believed in helping people. It's the key to a firm and grounded social structure.

In late 1995, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and worked with a gentleman who was volunteer firefighter. The depth of training intrigued me. Firefighting today is no longer just "putting the wet stuff on the red stuff". To be a well trained firefighter you must delve into the science & tactics of all facets of Firefighting & EMS.

I am trained in architecture, structural, and mechanical engineering. I'm also pursuing my Paramedic certification, and a degree in Nursing. (Paragods make great CRNA's)

I'm hopeful that I will be able share the knowledge that I've gained to help people make better decisions about their own safety & well being.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It gives me a chance to help people, and help people expand their knowledge to help themselves.
