I'm not an average girl. I'm a tom boy more or less. I've always been interested in things like NASCAR, hockey, motorcross, and demolition derbies. I grew up around firefighting and I fell in love with it at an early age. It's pretty much my life now.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My dad was a volunteer firefighter for 17 years and he just got signed back up with the department I'm with. When I was really little, he used to take me to the station all the time. I was born into firefighting and grew up with it, so I fell in love with it. And thanks to my boyfriend, he got me signed up with the department. I couldn't be happier.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love the thought of being able to help save people's lives
