2 day MVA pump/rescue tender course
1 day fall arrest course
first aid refreshers

and of course training on station every monday night

About Me:

I first joined the fire service when i was 16, living in Paihia in New Zealands, Bay of Islands. Paihia had a small brigade averaging about 100 calls each year. After one year i then transferd south so Silverdale, just north of New Zealands biggest city, Auckland. Silverdale is one of the countrys bussiest volunteer staions attending about 700calss a year.
After alomost 4years with the service my enthusiasm remains the same, although service politics can be a bit frustrating at times.
