- Willoughby Fire Dept. Jan. 2006 to April 2007. I loved it there, but left when i got hired union full time. I miss those guys, and learned a ton of tactics and made friends i will never forget

- About Me:
- Right before 9/11/2001 i was at college for like a week and hated it, i knew i would hate a suit and tie job but here i was going into busines. My friend Kristen W. saw me miserable in this week and asked what i like to do. And i replied, im a guy, i like motors, i like working with my hands, breaking stuff, hanging with friends. And she said Bill B, a friend of ours is gonna be a fireman. maybe thats up your alley.
So i looked into it, researched it that day and thought it would be a great life change for me. So i called my mom and dad and they were pissed cause i just got to college and i wanted to come home.
When 9/11/2001 happened and you watched those men, give their lives, it made me humble, and made me want to honor them, even if i never met them, even if people thought i jumped on the 9/11 "band wagon". I feel like this is what i was meant to be. Started taking classes, got my EMT-B, the fire school, then EMT-P got hired in Highland Hts. Part-time in 2004 at 21 y/o, then did some side jobs as a private ambulance. Then got hired part-time in Willoughby in 2006, and left Willoughby in 2007 in April when i got hired full time in Highland Hts.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I love to help, and love the rush, and it feels like its the only thing i was meant to do, and that i can only be really good at instead of just good at something.
- Why I Love Fire/EMS
- People, and trying to put a smile on their face. Maybe not at first when the emergency is going on, but after when they are getting better.
