Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined to help my communitites. Alot of people wont do the job we do, but there is no better feeling than to carry someones irreplacable personal effects out of their house that we just finished putting out. To be able to turn something so tragic into something so joyful is the best feeling in the world. I wouldnt give anything for it.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

The events that we face every day are sometimes so tragic. Pulling a child out of a burning house or cutting a dead mother out of car puts a real strain on the personel. Sometimes we keep it bottled up inside and it then causes problems at home.
