San Francisco Firefighter Hurt in Warehouse Fire; Awning Collapse: Video

(AP) SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco firefighters are mopping up at the scene of a warehouse fire that resulted in one firefighter being hospitalized.

Officials say the firefighter was injured when a portion of an awning fell on him as he battled the three-alarm blaze in the city's Bayview area.

The condition of the firefighter was not known.

The blaze in the single-story warehouse was first reported at 4:45 a.m. Thursday. Large flames from the fire could be seen from Interstate 280 by commuters driving into the city.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
