NFPA Complacent - When a department (or individual) has achieved some (past) level of compliance they have achieved as much as they feel they need too - hence they are now NFPA complacent.

Now, about that SAFET business - is that a "safe tee" that is shrink-wrap-proof in the event of a hay BLEVE and does not degrade in the presence of propane?

I'll just throw in my Pigmy Vindicator and Rose Hope Tool (be careful - don't say that second one too often. You'll be stuck with it) I'm sure I have more to offer but, my three synapes are clicking away as fast as the can on other things.

The flip-flops only goes with the fall fashion of the nomex shorts and a turnout coat...and we'll include a fire helmet. Coming soon to a scene near you !
