had a little vehicle rescue training refresher
Hats off to our instructor and the local salvage yard for donating the vehicles.

Well as it stands today no cap is needed on small Dept. members. There is becoming a huge whole in the amount of Joe.Q. Public that is not volunteering to fire depts. Yes it does cost for new members but generally for about the first year or 2 the new members get hand me downs that are still safe. Depts. usually have plans in place for all types of equipment replacement.

our is generally a good department and we are usually pretty busy
I think our biggest problem would be aging equipment.
we keep everything in good shape but we also have to compete for grants as well.
couple that with the high cost of equipment it can get quite rough.
we research as much as we can to get equipment at lower cost.
we have a great bunch of guys and gals. (sure a few snags here and there but they generally get smoothed out)
