Used for search for victims in a mva/overturn where the vehicle went into the woods

Used ours at least a couple of times on missing person searches at night. I believe we've used it to check electrical panels for overheating circuits also.

Department I used to be in has used them routinely on the MVC where everyone is gone on our arrival, assisted a local police department in finding bad guy that had assaulted one of theirs, check for faulty ballasts in lights, and missing persons. One of the local departments here were going to use theirs as a fundraiser to show local homeowners where the heat loss was in their house, but havent heard anything else about that one.

Checking fluid levels in tanks, drums and tanker trucks.

Great for checking wiring circuits for overheat as mentioned above.

In fire situations don't forget to use it upon entry to check air movement overhead. You can ascertain seat of fire.
