Naughtiest - glad you had some time to chillax last night - and weren't driving :)   .... or typing much - LOL

We are having gale force w*nds here - doing quite a bit of damage... so I am hanging in my house snug as a bug... in the heat that Kevin sends down to my house... THANKS KEVIN !.... yes... sorta doing homework...

The burn tower was pretty fun yesterday!!  It wasn't as hot as I had anticipated, but was still a really good time and was able to see the steam conversion first hand...pretty cool!!  Hopefully, we are FINALLY done with our FF class now...it has been over a year.

Good Morning... another fun filled day of homework :)

 

Glad to hear everyone has been busy hard at work....

 

Sarah glad you have gloves that finally fit you !!! It is great to have at least 2 pairs - in case you lose them... since I remember I could never switch out comfortably with the boy-size gloves.

 

I am so excited that here in Cali the police have started "distracted driving" check points - and are nailing people who are textin and driving, etc.  Yeah, since here texting while driving is double the rate of DUI accidents right now...

 

Also excited to know that California implemented a new law as of Jan 1 - for Booster Seat Laws - children must be in booster seats until age 8 and 4'9" in height :)  or else they will get a $500 fine per child.... to highlight this new law... there happened to be a well publized accident a few days ago in which the adult front seat passengers died... and the 3 un-buckled un-carseated children, under age 8, in the back seat were all thrown from the vehicle when it rolled over...

 

as far as being on the water wagon.... or at least the no-soda wagon... ugh... I can make it about 1 week... ugh... but I guess that is better than drinking 2-3 sodas per day...  but dang it how sad it is that my taste buds associate certain foods to having soda as a side dish... pizza, chinese food, sandwiches... ugh... gotta break that internal drive...

Hey folks!! Just stopping in to say Hi! Been busy with work and coaching. Had a fire yesterday but I was at work when it came it in. The guys got a great stop!!
