I'm a fire student and finished my FFI/FFII HAZMAT and EMT-B and am starting Paramedic in January.  I was wanting to take a Swift Water Rescue course and get my certification in that.  Where can I go in Ohio to do that?

They are available all over the place. You will need the 4 hour awareness, then the 16 hour ops and then there is technician. The state is trying to get everyone to the awareness level for sure. Where are you located?
I'm down in Athens. Its southeast Ohio where Ohio University is located
The state has a swiftwater TAC that should be able to let you know where the closest instructors are. Check with the local tech rescue teams.
If you are in eastern Ohio, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commissionprogram might be an option.

If you are in northwestern Ohio, consider the Indiana River Rescue program.

Both are excelent programs taught by experienced and reputable instructiors.
