Just wondering if there is anybody that still prefers the rubber turnout boots over the leather?

I just got a brand new set of Globe turnouts, indluding those boots. They do indeed fit more snug than my old rubber boots, as Nick Sieden mentioned. I've only run about 5-10 calls so far, but so far so good, very snug and comfortable. Haven't had a call yet with extended activity and wear time, ie structure fire, but from how they've worn so far, I imagine they'll do better than the rubbers did. What I really need out of a good structure fire is to break the damn pants and jackets in....nice gear but I feel like I'm walking around in cardboard!!!! Not to worry, though, new gear is a once in a lifetime thing so they'll be like my old stuff for good once they are broken in :)
