different routes of getting hired

question what would be best down here in south florida there has always been a debate on either going fire certification first or getting your medics as populations grow every day in South florida the need for more paramedics is obvious but, firefighting is eqaully as important but we dont really get many fires as a student which would be the best way to pursue your career as either going firefighter emt first or getting your medics then getting your firefighter cert

dnt know miami dade county was hiring every body and so was city im in emt school going into medic school in august
