According to emergency broadcast reports, the occupant of the house was seriously injured and burned in the house fire on Sandwich Road in Wareham . The victim, believed to be in his 50s, was flown by Medflight to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston . A firefighter was also injured at the fire scene with a reported ankle injury. The occupant's home was destroyed in the fast moving fire . Firefighters were hampered in battling the fire as the home and the front lawn contained various household items stacked high inside and outside of the house.
