First arriving units found a fully involved mobile home with immediate exposures threatened on both sides. First arriving units found a fully involved mobile home with immediate exposures threatened on both sides. Crews performed a defensive attack, protecting the adjacent structures and knocking down the fire from the outside. Crews were faced with difficult access issues and heavy fire. VFD personnel were able to save both neighboring structures from significant damage and they remain inhabitable. The involved structure is a total loss and currently under investigation. Both occupants were able to escape unharmed prior to arrival of fire units. One patient was treated at the scene by Medic and released. Companies arrived a little after 3:30 a.m. to the home at 143 Willow Drive to find it well off.<br /> <br /> First in engine and ladder crews from Palmer went to work on the fire building and protecting the delta side exposure. Ladder 27-21 went to work with ladder pipe operations as ground crews went to exterior operations.<br /> <br /> The firewall did it's job leaving the bravo side home with only minor smoke and water damage. The delta side townhouse suffered damage to the siding and blew out the windows from the heat.<br /> <br /> Departments worked for an hour to bring the fire under control and remained on-scene through the morning hours, negative injuries were reported.<br /> <br /> Units on Scene: 27, 14-12, EMS 27, Palmer PD | 1st Alarm 25-21, 53-11 | 2nd Alarm 22-12, 50-11, 54-12 | Standby to Cover 18-41, 28-11 | EMA, Goodwill
