I was on Genoa Harmony Fire Dept before moving up into wheatland town ship. I was the co-ems officer there and I was on the dept for 6 1/2 years and loved every min of it.

My name is Eric Koch I am 29 yrs old I am married going on 8yrs. I have 3 awesome kids that I would do anything for. I am the head t-ball coach for the area 8 and under team. I like working in the community and I enjoy my family and friends and getting together at events. I am a easy going guy and enjoy life every day and like to learn new things

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I love to help people in our community that need the help. There is just something about fighting fires that just relaxes me and at the time it just gives me a rush that feels really cool. I just love it.

Helping the people in our community that is why I do it and I just enjoy it all.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Saftey is the number one thing!!!
What kind of call will it be.
Will law enforcement be needed on standby.
Confedentionaillty is the number 1 thing in ems you don't go and talk about a call when your out in the public that is a BIG NO!!!
