I started out with the Ravenswood VFD then after I got out of high school I went to work at Westover WV and joined the fire dept there then in 1981 I moved back to Ravenswood then in 1983 I moved across the county to Ripley and joined.

My Training:

I am an EMT, haz mat tech, confined space rescue tech, Rope rescue tech. A fire service instructor for RESA V. And a few other things but can't remember.....

About Me:

I am an EMT have been since 1979. I do it full time as part of my job for Alcan Rolled Products Ravenswood. I worked for Jackson County EMS for 10 years.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My dad was a fireman and it seemed like a cool thing to get into. I don't regret any minute of it.
