Hi Yvan - It's nice to see your photos - You may want to see www.firephotography.com - The International Organization of Fire Photography (IOFP) is the largest group of fire photographers worldwide.
I would love to come visit! It is on my list of many!!! If you ever come near Indiana let me know, I can show you the scenery! :) Hope all is well! Stay safe, and best of luck!!
Oh fine... show off that cool starwars looking helmet. France firefighters definitely have cool helmets. Was wondering if you would like to share training ideas and bulletins from our departments. It would be fun to compare how we do things and hopefully learn from one another. I am involved with hazmat / WMD responses including patient decontamination. Do you do these same jobs? Do you know of others who would like to correspond? Take care, Mike Schlags mschlags@yahoo.com
Yes, my brother has worked in France for a spell and loved it. Actually, my grandmother was from Quebec and I often spoke french with her. Those days are long gone, but still try to hang onto a few words here and there !!
Canada is a huge country. My wife and I are still trying to see more of it. We've been to the west coast a few times and are trying to get to the east coast. One day maybe.
I look forward to future correspondance with you Yvan. It's nice to chat with someone who isn't out to "hook up" or fake.
How old are your kids?? Our daughters are 28 & 25. So it's just my wife and I. It's nice though.
Keep in touch my friend. Good to chat with you !

Bonjour Yvan!
Would be interesting to exchange some experiences one day! I'm interested in how you are dressed up, your smoke diving, and how much education you get?
Bonjour Yvan!
Je ne parle pas français, mais je comprends certains de la langue! Vous essayez d'apprendre à écrire le français, j'ai peut-être apprendre à parler aussi bien un jour! I'd be happy if you drop by some lines in french to me, stay safe!
Actually, I have a french fire helmet on E-bay... If you are interresting bidding... Delete Comment

Very true we all fight fire ,doesn't matter what country we live at in this great big world we all fight the same thing(fire) and we are all definitely brothers!!!
Yvan, My daughter is coming to France with her school next year. She is 16. My wife may be with her, not sure yet. Do you have any kids around that age? If so, my daughter may want to email them. She is in high school French now and very fluent in your language.
