These entry level positions require no previous experience. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. A GED is acceptable.

Kudos to you.. there are 3 women on my dept who are fire fighters...and 2 of them are my partners on the EMS also.. an they are a blast to work with...

We tested Mckownvilles hoses today and I was suprized to see they did not have any 5" supply lines. So that made the day a whole lot easyer. I really liked the old trucks (E-55, E-57).

Just wanted to let you know I'll be in Mckownville Friday testing fire hose, because thats my job lol. Where makeing are rounds through the Guilderland area, we just tested Fort Hunter FD and Westmere FD and it looks like Mckownville is next on the schedule.
