well when i first get on just a patrol officer the guys and galls driving around in the patrol cars but eventualy i want to become a swat officer that is my goal its alot more dangerous but it dose not bother me i do not get scared at all maybe a little nervous but nervous is good it keeps you human. never let fear rule your judgement thats when you make mistakes thats just a little peice of advice.

Personally, I dont wear a helmet, the reason is the feeling of freedom, it's really kindof hard to explain but I've been riding for about 22 years or so. most of those were during the years helmets were mandatory. The thrill of a long ride with out one is so much better. On the other hand I don't discourage anyone that wants to wear a helmet.
As you were writing that comment, I was tackling a fully involved concession stand at the university stadium here. Was hoping to get some sleep since I was out 24 hours before that with another fire in a building under construction there. We are waiting if we make it three for three tonight. Gonna catch some sleep now just in case. Glad to hear ya had fun on the trip. Hope those guys treated ya well. stay safe & talk to you later!

Me? Safe? what are ya, crazy? LOL Doing better today than yesterday. Wew had a funeral for the FD chaplin. He was 90 yrs old & firefighter for over 57 years. I had the honor of being a pallbearer honor guard during the services. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
Glad to hear things are getting better. Stay out of trouble!
Thanks for adding me. Hope things are going a little better for you. We all had to clean up the mess at least once. But if they have you doing it all the time, then you should say something. Stay safe & take care.
