Ron, no problem on the time it took to add me as a friend. I don't usually write on the blogs either and would like to keep in touch occasionally to help vent, talk and get different opinions on things that are going on in the fire service, your department my department and others around us. I am glad that you were trying to warn people about the potential of dealing with people on this site that don't have integrity. I am also glad you were reminded to not let it consume you and turn you to a negative person. Stay safe and looking forward to talking to you on issues and keeping in touch.

Thanks Ron. I really appreciate that. I don't have any pics or videos to share with anyone here and I'm not all that computer savvy either. I'll see what I can do about getting you a patch from my old department. If not, I've got a pin around here somewhere that I'd be willing to give you. I don't facebook, twitter, or any of those other social networking things. I've got email and I'm on here and on North Carolina Woodworker.net and that's about all the computer stuff I do other than Ebay looking for FD goodies at a reasonable price.
I'm old school as I said, leatherhead, tailboard ridin' Q stompin', ALF drivin' all the way.
