Happy new year!!! I talked to Megan and she said that she is interested in firefighting. What would be the next step for her to get more information on departments in Lee County. Is there someone at your firehouse that she can talk to. Let me know. Thanks for your help, Jim
ps, Sharon and I are pulling a 36 hour shift that started at 18:00 tonight and so far we have had a DOA, MVA rollover, and a stabbing. Looks like it's going to be a crazy new years eve. Stay safe!!! Jim

I used to live in the Fort Myers area. I have a daughter who still lives in the area and is currently taking her FFI & FFII class as a part of high school. She is a senior this year. She is a very fit and determined girl. More of a tomboy I guess you could say. Any way It is hard for me to help her out since I live in Indiana. Can you tell me more about the explorer program down there? Or is there some kind of a mentorship program for High school students that want to get into Firefighting? Maybe she could come to the Firehouse and talk to you to get more information. Any info would be appreciated. Jim

Oh, no- just a loaner while we fixed the transmission in our Pierce. That thing had no air & was about 140 degrees in the cab, and only 1 window went down LoL.

What's up, man. Saw the comment you left on Woddy's page; one of the three (supposed) sensors on the transmission was off so it siezed up while in motion- SWEET! We got that piece of crap E-one from that used apparatus sales place in Bonita the other day. Holy crap, I thought we had it bad!!
