I do love dalmations but when I got married, my wife had a sheltie named Maggie (shes 7 now) and we thought we'd get some playmates for her, so I kept the same breed. I did have a Dalmation when I lived in St.Louis. But he was so big, he'd jump the fence and end up miles away from home. We'd get phone calls almost everyday from citizens and also the police and animal control to come get him. So my dad gave him to the St.Louis Fire Department back then in 1968. I'd go and visit him often.
