Thanks Larry. I will check the area out. For better or worse my training is only to the awareness level. Which means I know just about enough to recognize a possible hazmat situation and then turn around and get the heck out of there.

Thanks for the invite! The Hazmat I work is a bit different of a specialty.. It is at race tracks, TV and movie production and other weird stuff.. Never really know what to expect.. Therefore the training is everything! Look forward to learning and sharing!

Hi Larry, thanks for your words and it is a great pleasure to know about you. Yes, I am part of the Hazmat Team in Perú, I work in that many times. We are making a Congress in October related all the topics of our profession, like FIRE, Hazmat, Rescue, and EMS. Thanks for your invitation to be part of the spilleaters.

thanks for the request. and thanks for the site too! I've been a Haz-Mat tech. for two years, and our pumper at my station is fully equipped. I work for the Port of Houston F.D., which is where most of the Hazardous Materials enter the southern U.S. you name it, it comes through our container yards. If you wanna know anything else just send me a message.

stay safe

Thanks Larry. It has been a while since I took that training and we rarely get Haz-mat calls but I think it would be good to join the group and catch back up with what is new out there.

I saw where you started the spilleaters group. Good source of info. i'll be able to use this info for training at work. i am a Tennessee Eastman firefighter, so we work with a lot of chemicals, just about on every call. Thanks and have a good day!

Thanks for the invite Larry! I got my HazMat A when I was in Emergency Service Unit with the PD in '99. I was only in the Unit a year. Most of the HazMat I've done with the Vollie FD has been "small pataters" as my aunt used to say. I'll see you in SpillEaters!
