Just about every year when he gets up there he hires someone in town with a backhoe to do work. Drilled a well a couple of years ago so he is making an attempt..lol
Same here when we moved here couple cars a day and knew everyone now 100 a day and only know one or two. My cousin is Neil Calkins he lives in Tacoma but comes over for 2 or 3 weeks a year and works on the property keeps saying hes building a cabin but haven't seen that happen yet LOL
Never heard it called that but my place was past the turn off to Mitchell Mountain about 4 miles. The only thing past it at the time was an old trapper/rum runner shack in a cove just down river from where the Pend orille river comes into the Columbia
It is across the river then North all the way to the end of the road way past the ranches and a private air strip. I can't remember the first ranchers name now but their land was right near where Sheep Creek enters the Columbia
Small world I owned some land North of Northport on the west bank of the river bought it from Dennis Dial and sold it to my cousin so I could still hunt or fish up that way. Be safe.
kidding aside, nice to see someone who takes care of themselves, it's important in this line of work ,,,, nice pythons, keep up the good work and post more pics ,,,, i will have more posted soon, i'm computerchallenged and am having a hard time figuring out how to do it ,,,, i friend of mine who has moved away helped me last time ,,,, thanks for the add and write once in awhile ,,,, helps me remember who everyone is, tell me about life, the job, kids, whatever floats ya boat ,,,, nothing like exchanging e-mails with friends during slow times at the station ,,,,

need more color contrast to see those pythons lmao.. welcome to the group.. the sites fun and has interesting discussions.. it's nice seeing how other departments and countries work, but i love seeing all the different apparatus used all over the world.. word to the wise, if you wanna trade patches be careful.. there are a few people here looking to get one and not reciprocate.. i will not mail anything till i have something in hand, but you do what you want.. my goal now is not to get a patch, i do not collect them.. but rather, being a brother watch your back and warn you like we should all do good or bad, it's what the brotherhood is all about.. if you wanna add me as a friend, great .. if not that too is OK, my message is intended to welcome you to the group..
be safe and god bless..
