Notes from a Rookie Firefighter...Yes it's still February 5, 2011
I just got an exciting offer from an online publication to write a regular column for them - it would be taking Notes from a Rookie Firefighter to a whole new level. Have to ask my Chief! OMG what if I get writer's block?
PS Imagine if I could really write what I wanted to. LOL

Congrats on that Denise. That is awesome. I can't imagine why your Chief would object, especially when you intend to write all kinds of
goodgreat things about him, and howgoodgreat a job you think he is doing.
I hope we all get to read your work.
Once again, congratulations on that achievement. I truly believe you will do great, but there is one slight problem.. I don't think you are a rookie! What happensifwhen you get promoted to an officer..then what.. you have to consider these seemingly insignificant things. Afterall, you don't want to mislead the world into believing that you are a rookie when we ALL know you are far from a rookie.
