Notes from a Rookie Firefighter...Yes it's still February 5, 2011

I just got an exciting offer from an online publication to write a regular column for them - it would be taking Notes from a Rookie Firefighter to a whole new level. Have to ask my Chief! OMG what if I get writer's block?

PS Imagine if I could really write what I wanted to. LOL

I hope we all get to read your work.
Once again, congratulations on that achievement. I truly believe you will do great, but there is one slight problem.. I don't think you are a rookie! What happens if when you get promoted to an officer..then what.. you have to consider these seemingly insignificant things. Afterall, you don't want to mislead the world into believing that you are a rookie when we ALL know you are far from a rookie.
