Well tomorrow is the actual day my daughter was born 5 years ago, although we celebrated it Sunday. She had a fantastic time. She wanted to go to Chuck E Cheeses for her B-Day so thats where we went the whole family and she had a ball there. afterwards we came home and she opened up her presents blew out her candle (future firefighter?? LOL) and ate cake and ice cream. We topped the nite off for her by going to Sonic for dinner, Talk about ruining any chances of losing weight this weekend LOL. Tomorrow she is taking cookies in to her preschool for her B-day treat for everyone at school.

Nice story John! Thanks for sharing. Dads have such a special bond with their "little" girls. Mine are 25 and 12 y/o. May those stories never end. Happy Birthday to your daughter, John!

John, cherish those moments Bro. They come and go so quickly. Next time you turn around they are out of their teens and out of the house. Sounds like you had a great time. I am happy for you. My Daughter now has two daughters (grandaughters) and I only get to see them once a year. They live in Alaska. I am in Oregon. So have fun and enjoy them while you can Bro.

I never understood why kids whose birthday it is, is supposed to be the one bringing the treats. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
