ResqueTech has a few books on basic knots to State associated Tech Req. teams they start at 8 dollars and up. I might have a tech Resque awareness training pamphlet about my stack if I find it will send it your way

Well...if you send my your address(snail mail) I will send you a copy of the student manual that we use for our course...the Technical Rescue course....as you might notice there is a hell of a lot more that "Just the knots"....rigging, helicopter ops, search and rescue, efficient asset usuage....ect. Been throught it twice and have a refresher next month...let me know....Stay safe and keep the faith.....Paul

I have taken the classes at Forsyth and I know for the most part that they get their information from the IFSTA books. The new program is a little different. It takes in information and techniques from several sources. I will agree that the comment left by FETC is probably the best website that I have come across in reference to learning to tie knots.

If you want to know the exact knots or any other information given in the new GPSTC courses. INTRO, CORE, and TECH. Let me know. Take care.

And I feel your pain on the fuel costs to the academy. 200 miles from our department one way.
