why small fire dept. close there doors

small dept have a hard time keeping up with funds to keep them going. Lack of gear and luck of funds are a problem. what can we do to help small dept. Please respond with positive ways that will help small dept. stay open. I think there should be something we can do as firefighters to help with this.

Escape and Rescue from Submerged Vehicles
