I'm back after a long absence, just had no real time as I was helping others and I even had an absence from the other group I blog on. Just retired from being a NY State Fire Instuctor. Have been doing some traveling and now going to start doing some Military hops. But hey you need to keep busy when you retire otherwise you will go crazy just sitting around. I was at my Ham Radio Club meeting on wednesday night and we had a speaker who gave us a half hour talk on this very important subject. I found to be very informative, as I did know about this service but did not know they were free and in this area Buffalo,NY. They are not related to Mercy Flight or Star Flight. hey bob. ya more female members is a mixed feeling for me. some ive come across... im like really? no wonder they dont like girls on fire halls.... not to honk my own horn but i am the shit. i dont quit, im not afraid, and i can take the razzing by the men. i may not be as physically strong, but give me a job and i WILL get it done. i dont cry easily. i dont take much personally, and i push myself to be better and better all the time. we've gone through a lot of girls who just cant hack it, wanna change the fire dept into some kinda wussy politically correct place that has different measuring sticks for men and women. not cool with me. i like to see women on the dept, but i hate it when they try to change it into something its not so they can feel better about themselves.. :) BTW i like to speak my mind. dont be afraid:)

Hi Bob, Thanks for the friend invite. Sorry for the delay, but I just got the chance to check out your page. I'm still making formations, Army Reserves, 21 years now and still going. I just found out I made the promotion list, so I'll be staying for at least another 2-3 years. Currently overseas, and looking forward to getting home in a couple months.
