About Me:
You know you are a true Fire Fighter when you can't imagine doing anything else. Served in the United States Navy alongside the United States Marine Corps proudly. Started in the Fire Service as a Cadet at 15 and have been a Fanatic ever since. Mess with the Best and the fire will be out like the rest!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up and still live in a very rural area, that in many ways reminds me of living in a combination of a time warp of the Great Depression and a third world country. Although I have spent most of my life in this area, I am and have been an outsider so my options were to go bad, or do good. I attribute my choice to do good on my upraising by my family, positive role models in school, and like minded people (in general) in the Fire Service who encouraged me to be the best.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping people for the greatest good.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Recruitment and Retention, Funding, Community/Political support, Training, Safety, Internal strife, More calls to emergencies than the Fire Service can support. AND ON AND ON....
