About Me:
Always wanted to be a fireman. In 1954, when I was 5, my dad broke my heart when he told me girls couldn't do that. 15 years later, I proved him wrong as spent 21 years in fire. I also worked on ambulances on my days off and between working for various fire agencies. In 1995 I took a bad fall on a fire and injured my c-spine. After rehab, 3 years later, the doc told me no more firefighting. I am retired now but I was lucky enough to spend 21 years at my dream job. 4 year ago, I developed Multiple Chemical Sensitivity from an over exposure to some chemicals and now have to stay away from any fragrances and chemicals, so I am basically homebound.
