About Me:
Basically I enjoy being a part of an organization that saves lives, and helps others when they need it the most. I enjoy the training, and practicals all the same.. it gets you into shape and its nice to learn something new every once in awhile. Every year I work on our annual PBF (People's Burn Foundation) Auction (at figtree gallery in helmsburg indiana. June 5th and 6th 2009). I am good at getting people to give me donations for auctions so i tend to get talked into committee;s for fundraising. Usually on the fire sceen I can be found with the clipbook and pen in hand filling out all the forms (since the admin staff can read my hand writing and i put a lot of detail into it). I usually accompany my roomate afterwards or during we take turns with the camera getting all the cool shots of the ff's in action and the fire, as well as the after pictures during the next day for the investigation reports.

Joe, welcome to the FF Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
