- I am a instructor for Fire Fighting 1&2 for our local college and the state of Minnesota. I have attended many classes for fire. I also am an insructor for EMS for our local College and the state of Minn. I also am an officer for Hazmat Tech. which i have been for approx. 15 years. Am a CPR instructor for AHA.
- About Me:
- I have been a Fire Chief for 13 years. I am married and have 3 adult children, 9 grand childres and 2 great grandchildren, which are the joys of my life. I have been a nurse for 40 years and work at a local Nursing Home. Fire and EMS are pretty much what i enjoy. My husband is excellent with my position and i have included him in many aspect of firefighting.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- Because we live in the rural area, which is small with 650 people i felt it was my duty to give back to the community the best way i knew how.
- Why I Love Fire/EMS
- To be able to help people and if the circumstances works out for them, then they are happy and i am satisfied that we were able to help.
- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- Staff. We are a rural department and with all the education people need, it is hard to get people to join once they find out how many hours is needed.
